1. The POS solutions are supplied by POS providers, not us. We do not guarantee or endorse those products and any related services.

2. To use EFTPOS Air, your iPhone or Android device must be Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled and running a supported iPhone Operating System (iOS) or Android Operating System (OS), listed at  westpac.com.au/eftposaircompatibility, which may change from time to time. Tap to Pay on iPhone requires a supported payment app and the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install. Some contactless cards may not be accepted by your payment app. Transaction limits may apply. The Contactless Symbol is a trademark owned by and used with permission of EMVCo, LLC. Tap to Pay on iPhone is not available in all markets. For Tap to Pay on iPhone countries and regions, visit   developer.apple.com/tap-to-pay/regions/.

3. Subject to system availability.

4. Westpac instant settlement functionality is not available between 9:30 pm and 11:00 pm - Sydney time. You can only perform a settlement once a day, before 9:30 pm (Sydney time). A settlement done after 11:00 will be processed as a settlement for the next day. Subject to system availability, settlement can take place 7 days a week. Settlement must be to an eligible Westpac transaction account. Instant Settlement functionality is not available on Corporate Online. Instant Settlement is only available for Mastercard®, Visa® and eftpos transactions (plus UnionPay if using EFTPOS Connect).

5. Same day settlement: Subject to system availability, settlement is performed directly after business day cut off. Business day cut-off for EFTPOS Air takes place 7-days a week at 08.50 pm (Sydney time). Settlement must be to an eligible Westpac business transaction account.

6. Our 1.2% flat transaction rate applies to eftpos, Mastercard ®, Visa and UnionPay but not to American Express or JCB cards. 
7. 1.4% flat rate pricing: Applies to eftpos, Mastercard and Visa payments by card or digital wallet. 1.4% flat rate pricing for American Express and JCB is charged by American Express and is subject to eligibility. Other fees and charges may be charged by American Express. Separate application with American Express required which jointly covers American Express and JCB cards. 

# If you want to accept American Express, you’ll need to enter into a separate merchant agreement with American Express.
